And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

Since God's children are His seed, it is expected of them to make wise and moral decisions. Jesus Christ desires for His followers to follow Him in making the right decision in matters of leadership. Since Jesus Christ is the greatest leader in the universe, choosing to follow Him and His teachings is unquestionably the right decision. You will be able to choose the right church and religious leader to follow through His teachings.
Since Jesus Christ is the Head of the Body of Christ, it is His responsibility to prepare and appoint religious leaders for His church. Be cautious, though, as there are many gullible leaders who assert that God has called them to preach the gospel. Be careful not to follow a blind leader because you will end up in a ditch if you do.
